Why I Launched Hyper Refinery™

(And Why It Changes Everything)

I never imagined I'd create an entirely new discipline.

For most of my life, I was fully committed to my work in supply chain and procurement — a field where strategy, precision, and integrity aren’t optional; they are survival. I loved it. I was excellent at it. And I believed my purpose was to help organizations create stability, opportunity, and prosperity for the people who depended on them.

But life has a way of making sure you hear what you’re meant to hear.

Someone I respect immensely asked me to consider working with clients with ADHD. I dismissed the thought immediately.
She asked again.
Then again.

I've learned that the things I'm meant to act on will keep resurfacing until I listen.

At the same time, I was grappling with the late revelation of my ADHD diagnosis.

It explained the friction I’d felt for decades — the pattern of working harder than everyone around me, yet always feeling I was pushing uphill against an invisible force no one else acknowledged. It wasn’t a lack of intelligence, drive, or commitment. It was something deeper.

And that “something deeper” had a name, a narrative, and a stigma attached to it.

A narrative I could not accept.

Due to a lack of understanding, ADHD has been characterized as laziness, inconsistency, and a lack of discipline.

What I saw — in myself and others — was brilliance, speed, creativity, outward chaos masking extraordinary cognitive architecture, and an internal operating system that simply needed a different support that no one was offering.

I realized the coaching profession wasn’t equipped to address the issues of ADHD/SRAS.
Not because coaches didn’t care, but because the process they were trained in was designed for neurotypical minds. It relies on goal setting, accountability, and executive functions that are unavailable to people with ADHD/SRAS. This process is wholly ineffective and can often cause more harm.

I knew then that my work, my life, and my leadership — all of it — had been preparing me for something greater.
